Alaskan Clydesdale... Incredible!

We received this forwarded e-mail today, and I thought that it was so impressive (and cute) that I just HAD to post it for ya'll to see.  What an incredible beast... God's creation is wonderful, isn't it?!?

I hope you enjoy this picture.

Blessings,
~Miss Laura

PS. the below information was copied/pasted from the e-mail.

Only in Alaska ....... This guy raised an abandoned moose calf with his
horses, and believe it or not, he has trained it for lumber removal and
other hauling tasks. Given the 2,000 pounds of robust muscle, and the
splayed, grippy hooves, he claims it is the best work animal he has.

He says the secret to keeping the moose around is a sweet salt lick,
although, during the rut he disappears for a couple of weeks, but always
comes
 home....

 Impressive!

 ALASKAN CLYDESDALE
Bound to be someone, or animal rights group, out there that will raise
some issues with this treatment of a wild animal.  To them I ask, "If
the
Moose keeps coming back, what's the problem?"

Re: Prayers Request

Dear Friends,
I was wondering if you would pray for me as I'm needing a miracle as I been suffer from TMJ(temporomandibular jaw) for 3 years due to a blunder at the hospital,I am needing a new jaw joint replacement but I'm too young for the operation. I go back to see the Maxillofacial surgeon on the 5th of May so I really need prayers done. I am needing answers here as I still don't know why I need a new jaw. I also want to pray for my friend Miss Laura who also suffers from TMJ,she is a very good friend to me.
God bless you all

My Brother is Officially...

A hair's-breadth taller than me!
*sob*

Even though it's so hard to accept (for me, at least *giggle* ), my brother has finally passed me in height.  Yes, my almost-thirteen-year-old brother is now a man's size... and practically a man already, too.  Of course, it's wonderful to have a man around the house 24/7! :-) And he's not only a young man now, but he's also... well... *cough*... handsome!

He's a blessing to have as a brother, even if he is taller than me... I guess that's just more reason to feel safe when he's around! :-)

"I Love De Chickon!"

Today Bonita did the craziest thing... made a doll out of one of our chickens!  She got the chicken (don't ask me how-- someone must have given it to her) and came INSIDE the house with it!  Then she sits on the recliner and says, "I think de chickon is cold.  Get a manky [blanket] for it."  Then she started singing, "Rock-a-bye baby, on the tree top..."  It was SOOOO funny!

Hope you enjoy the pictures.  I certainly did! :-)

Blessings,
~Miss Laura
